Rose Bowl

This iconic venue was built in 1922 as local citizens decided to build a new and permanent venue for their “post-parade” football game. Designed by the famous architect Myron Hunt, it was built in just 9 months.

The first Rose Bowl game played in the stadium was in January 1923 and was attended by 43,000 people. With a capacity of 90,000, it is the 11th largest stadium in the United States. The game is known as the “Granddaddy of Them All” since it was the first-ever postseason college game played in the country.

This National Historic Landmark has also hosted Super Bowls, FIFA World Cup finals, Olympic events, and massive concerts like the Rolling Stones and U2.

This is truly a must-visit destination when in town!
